Patut dicatat, salah satu pengurangan Laptop Acer Aspire 4738Z dibandingkan versi 4741Z adalah speaker-nya yang kini menggunakan speaker biasa saja.
Selain itu, pada versi non-Windows, tidak memperoleh Bluetooth. Versi Acer Aspire 4738Z dengan Windows akan tetap dilengkapi Bluetooth dan RAM 2 GB.
